A collection of illustrations documenting my experiences with one of the many community efforts in helping combat the effects of Covid 19. These are the volunteer sewers, cutters and folders working together making medical gowns for the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital in response to the lack of PPE at the start of the pandemic. Together people from all walks of life and travelling all over London managed to come together and make over 30,000 over the course of three months, providing the staff of the hospital essential protection and peace of mind.
The illustration of the gowns were chosen by the Friends of Royal Brompton Trust to be made into badges as a keepsake for all the volunteers involved.
